How Burgernet works
Burgernet is used in cases such as theft or burglary, driving on after a collision, robbery, and missing persons. You will receive an action message via the Burgernet app when something like this happens in your area. Seen something? Then you can contact the police directly via the app.
Amber Alert
You will also receive AMBER Alerts via the Burgernet app when a missing child is in mortal danger. You can recognize an AMBER Alert by the orange color and the title AMBER Alert.
About the app
The app uses your smartphone's location to send you messages about nearby actions. Even when you are away from home. Participation is anonymous, your data or location will not be tracked.
