The app iFretta is used for navigating in the Lagoon of Venice respecting the speed limits.

iFretta provides the location, monitors the speed of the boat in the Lagoon of Venice and alerts instantly in case of exceeding the speed limit.

iFretta allows you to see in real time your location on the map, the browsing speed, the speed limit in the channel and the sailing area. The maps of speed limits used are the official ones of the Water Authority of Venice (1).
