Changing the Cube Resource Pack must be one of Minecraft's most impressive resource packages, as it has been around for nearly five years and is still the latest even today and is able to match similar resource packages. The package was originally from the Cube, Inc. resource package, designed for Cube, Inc. mapping, but since its release, it has received quite a few updates to make it unique.
It is worth mentioning that the Altered Cube resource package does not really look cohesive, and this is mainly because the package does not use a single art style, but rather mixes it like a variety of different art styles. Fortunately, even with this different art style, the packaging looks really high quality, because the texture has crazy details in it, and the bug is hardly there. The package also uses a bright and vibrant color palette that helps bring texture to life.
It is important to remember that the Altered Cube resource package is only available for Minecraft 1.8, which is why you may need to upgrade or downgrade the Minecraft client to use it. The resolution of this package is x16, so even if you play with Minecraft on a PC with outdated hardware, you are unlikely to not run at a stable frame rate.
