The application of photos of Sabadell, to live and see other faces of the city.
Sabadell Click a Click is an initiative to see our city with other eyes through the geoposition of photos and to be able to visualize these (and their information) through a smartphone.
The idea is simple, but it has great potential:
1- The quantity, creativity and diversity of the routes that we will offer will undoubtedly a very important element. Because the costs of creating new routes are so low, we can constantly create new ones.
2- A project open to the citizens and institutions, which can propose thematic routes, both the most classic and very personal and peculiar, that help us know more about the city where we live every day.
3- Finally, a platform like Sabadell Click is also a way to bring out the drawers, files and shelves all those photos, stories and memories that we have kept at home and put them in the citizens' pocket.
Of course, an application of these characteristics is also very interesting for those visitors from outside the city, and who will have the opportunity to follow both tourist routes designed for them and more alternative and/or topics that can most passionate. From historical routes (the industrial past, the civil war, the transition, etc.), artistic (paintings, drawings, graffiti, etc), gastronomic, cultural (traditions, parties, etc.) and many more.
Some routes will also have a significant educational application. For example, the already available route of Sabadell Past, where we can see what Sabadell was like more than 100 years ago. Other routes that will be incorporated into the future on city architecture, history and even about vegetation (where we will know more about the trees in the city) will also have an educational kiss. And for the little ones, we will soon promote a children's drawing contest in the city, creating the Sabadell route of the little ones.
